INTERNSHIP REPORT Ufone MSC capital of Pakistan EXECUTIVE SUMMARY I did internship at Ufone MSC in Islamabad which is located in I-9. The duration of this internship was sextette weeks and was from 2nd July 2007 to tenth August 2007. I was an intern in transmission discussion section i.e. OMC-T (Operation and forethought section Transmission). The OMCT is part of the NOC (Network Operations Center). The OMCT is responsible for the operations, configuration, troubleshooting and support of transmission links, muxes and separate network elements for the data transmission surrounded by the different interfaces in the GSM system. During my internship I learned a pleating about working in a professional meet and the practical life and how to interact with people of different surpass levels. Before teaching me the practical work I was given over study real(a) and training manuals for learning and understanding the rudiments of the GSM system. This training manu al is given to every new employee or internee so that he/she can learn about the basics of the GSM system, its architecture and procedures.
